Original Oil on canvas - re-imagined in several space versions
Originally painted sometime in 2016
The story behind space flower is simple. I painted it over another small practice piece, I wanted to paint a flower, but not a real one. I wanted a pretty, fluid flower in a vase full of planet earths. I painted it with a black background, deep black, and sweeping stars flying in a wave, like a flock of birds heading south for the winter.
