The Evolution of Andy's Office

This is a painting of Andy's office. I painted it as a farewell gift to my boss Andy. A small law firm in downtown Denver, cool old house converted into a law office.
Here is the photo that inspired the painting:

It just felt moody, thoughtful, laden with story and a hint of mystery.
Here is the painting in progress:

And, here is the final version that I gifted to Andy:

Someone commented that hanging in the hallway, it felt "Meta". It did.
Here's what's weird. During my time at Andy's office, coffee (good coffee) was always brewing or going out to be got. Andy had a sweet old Golden Retriever, Denali, who came to visit the office from time to time.
When I uploaded the above photo into GPT and asked it to re-imagine the painting, here is what it came up with ... no prompts....

How did it know? There is clearly a dog and coffee theme that it just inserted into the imagery. Of course, there are rackets in the background too, which is random, but even so, it really captured the overall feel (and more) of what I was going for. It couldn't have known about Denali or our coffee snobbery, but it seemed to sense those elements? Maybe? I don't know, but it certainly was part of the mood I was going for.
I dunno, just one of those things that make you go, hmmmm....
